“Oh ah yeah, Brennan Mulwray…hahahaha”

“Dodgy background, yeah I guess it hasn’t been fully explained yet, not even to me so maybe I had amnesia when I was a kid I don’t really remember. No I don’t know much about the parenting but I’m pretty sure that will come up soon like as far as my parents and all that sort of stuff, but yeah I was a criminal and I stole lots of stuff, cars, bank bonds and stuff that you saw in the first few episodes but I am sure that it was just a lot more of that.”

“I think I was just tired of that life style and I figured a lot of what attracted me to it was it was a lot of fun, doing what I did was a lot of fun. And when I found out I could still have a lot of fun and still have a lot of ass kicking and using my powers and doing a lot of cool stuff like that but doing it for the right reasons, I think that just appealed to me. Plus I think it was time to shed the old skin and try on some thing new for a while. Especially after seeing this guy like Eckhart you know, seeing what he was doing and how close that hit to home and what he was doing to me it was kind of like I’m getting this……guy back...hahahaha.

I have to be careful of what I say…I got to get this guy back for what he's done cause it kind of hit me close to home. So I think that was the original inspiration and it kind of evolved from there and then I just became a part of the team and I’ve grown to love these people like family.”

“Oh I think the cool thing about Brennan is that he is always on the edge of not being on the team he really wants to be on the team but sometimes its kind of...you know...questionable whether he is going to stay for the duration and that’s one of his character points.”

“My relationships well uh Shalimar and I are starting to get a little closer, there’s a little attraction there. Can’t imagine why she’s awful to look at and she is so not nice hahaha..um then there’s Emma she’s like everyone’s little sister I think Forbes, is not like a little brother more like some body who hasn’t had as much worldly experience, I think he is more of a tech guy and some ones that’s maybe more not as experience in things I think Brennan’s probably gone through a lot of things, women maybe drinking maybe other things he's been around and done a lot of stuff. Adam I think he’s kind of a uncle somebody who can give a little bit of guidance and is kind of on the same level but has more to teach and Eckhart is just a son of a gun who we have to get, but we don’t need to worry about him any more.”

“The powers, yeah they are evolving I am able to fly around I use jet propulsion or electro propulsion. Whatever you want to call it and I get to do all sorts of crazy stuff it gives me the opportunity to do wire work and actually it’s like being a kid, coming to work when you get to do stuff like that, it’s awesome. I think its all something we dreamt about as a kid being able to fly or being a superhero. I get to do it all and get paid for it oh I love it, that was my life for many many years. I was fighting all the time kick boxing competitions fighting training sparring with professional fighters teaching martial arts. It was all about contact, I’d play football I played all kind of sports but I loved the contact.

Like I’d play basketball and “foul” what are you talking about foul? I barely touched him. *fakes a punch* I love the fun I like to do it all myself Paul. He can do it all for me but I want to do as much of it as I can with out getting involved in the insurance problems with it, “it was something Paul and I came up with together."

" We wanted some thing that was visual pleasing you know you want to see the electricity before you throw it but some times there is just not time and you have to get it off real quick. You see the conjuring of the electricity and then you just shoot it.”

“I’m a big practical joker like I’ll put stuff in their rooms or I’ll mess around or I’ll scare people. I’ll put chiclets in my mouth and pretend to pop my teeth out on camera or I’m always doing something crazy and fun. I love doing fun stuff. I’m a big kid, big kid.”

“Sex symbol, can we say sex on TV? Shhhh I don’t know, yeah sure why not, I’ll be a sex symbol. I don’t know I need help in the dating area. I need to find somebody cool to go out with some one fun and all that good stuff but we don’t need to get into that right now.”

“I just want to be myself when I come to work. I consider this a job now if I meet somebody out I’ll sit there and talk to them about the show forever. If I am at some sort of fan convention I’ll sit there I’ll sign autographs I’ll talk to them I don’t consider myself here (puts hand in the air) and fans here (puts other hand below the first hand). It’s like everybody is equal I am just doing a job and they see me work, that’s the only difference. People just appreciate what I am doing for work and I think that’s awesome and I love and I think that as many people out there that we can get enjoying and becoming familiar with the show, well that’s what we want as far as keeping contact with everyone.

Well its like If I am working at k-mart I’m not pen pals with everybody but if I see people out and about and we start having a conversation I’ll sit there for house and have lunch or dinner, whatever, its not something I keep track of, its something I don’t even think about. Maybe that’s what it is and its not for any other reason other than *moves his hand over his head* as soon as I leave work I start living my life. “I met with Mr. Howard, Mr. Seth Howard the all knowing omniscient (I think it was omniscient) one…um I’m trying to get a pay rise, did you see that? So I met with him and we just really really clicked, I liked his concept I like his attitude the way he was thinking about it.

He was the first introduction for me to the show and then I met with everyone else, but originally my first meeting was with him and then auditioning and screen testing and then mixing and matching people and it just kind of worked out and everything was mashed together.”

“I mean I don’t see the scripts until after they are already written and then if there is a couple of little tweaks here and there I’ll say something a little different or do you really think he would do this. They are very open to listening you know this is a team effort it is a family effort that involves running this show, I have that much input its not like I can say this is what I want to do and it happens no not at all.”

“Personal highlight so far obviously the wire work is awesome it brings out the giggly school boy in me its like yeah you know oh my god I get to do this but no really. I love living out here in Toronto I love the show I love everybody I am working with just the whole memory of last year and the beginning of this year everything is just been great.”

“I’m just having fun doing what it is… I like the fact that we get to go on little adventures, especially this year um. Eckhart’s going, unfortunately. Tom he was amazing, I am actually going to Strafford this weekend to see him but uh we get to go out and about more, get out of sanctuary we get to split up and do our own little adventures. The story is so much fun this year the story is totally different it is not like one show is similar to the next show when a guest star new mutant comes in and Eckhart goes “hmmm so we must” no none of that this year. Maybe Brennan getting a little bit more of an edge a little bit more rebellious towards the team. I think that’s about it I kind of like everything that he is doing, he is like the bad boy so he has all these little one liners he's always got some thing to say kind of like myself I guess.”

“I think we are all gullible for people we have grown fond off in the past, I know I have people come back from my past and screw me over because I have a soft spot for them I don’t think the same person would do it twice but yeah I think they are just human, we are exactly the same as everybody else except I can shoot electricity that’s the only difference other than the fact that I can do back flips off trees. But yeah of course I mean the same problems we go through as people we are going to go through as characters and I think we should show more of that. We should show more of our soft side and our vulnerability not just our tough guy side or tough girl side or in Shalimar’s case its her hairy butt side.”

“Yeah no I love it that’s when I really… I mean on stunt days, the next day I pay for it because when we fly around its like I am not supposed to do some thing its like we will go to here and then we will cut on the back flip and then all of the sudden we are going and going so lets say I am supposed to flip over some body’s shoulder they say we will stop right as your about to go over and instead I’ll continue and just keep going and they’ll be like why did you do that? Because it is so much fun for me that’s why! I mean I used to do it for a living you know fight stuff for our schools when we used to do demonstrating for our kids and things like that it.

Uh there was a sunrise takewond school in orange county California and we used to program all kinds of fun stuff. I mean there is the tiger team and the breaking boards team. I mean we used to have this huge stun demos and they still do. I’ll go down there once in a while and it’s always fun to see the little kids. Especially if they have seen the show they are like “oh oh!” and for me it is just lost on me this is work. I come here I don’t do make up I don’t do hair I just come in and do everything myself. I don’t want to deal with the mumbo jumbo glitzy crap of it. I just want to come in and have fun everybody is a friend. I like to say what's up to everybody make sure you remembers your please and thank you’s and don’t forget your place you're just an actor that’s it.
